Overview

 

As an industry leader Hope’s Windows realized the need to migrate from their End of Life Norstar Mics to a flexible IP System. They had been a customer of a large scale carrier for 25 years but with the costly maintenance and system change fees they saw the value in a new system.  The scalability delivered in the Full Feature Avaya IP Office Suite determined it would be a great fit for their needs.  The customer had been with their previous partner for years but wanted a progressive thinking company with a strong Avaya partnership status. They selected Ronco as their new partner recognizing the value of holding a platinum status with Avaya.  Equally as important, the customer choose Ronco to work directly with their network partner to upgrade the physical data infrastructure to IP standards before doing the system change.

 

Solution

 

Ronco consulted with Hope’s Windows for weeks to put everyone on the same page and ensure they were comfortable and confident with the migration. Avaya IP Office – Preferred Edition Software was implemented predominately 9611G sets, in addition to a large number of 1408 sets and 1608 sets. As 20% of the users were provided the GIG phone sets they gained an additional benefit noticing improved upload network speed from their workstations. Ronco provided full consultative sales, engineering, programing, and training. To guarantee the desired uptime and reliability of their Avaya IP Office system, Hope’s Windows elected to leverage Ronco’s Watchtower program. Ronco’s Watchtower program, provides event notification and 24x7 remediation services in support of Avaya’s infrastructure.
