Ronco Communications & Electronics, Inc. offers the RoncoWatch Remote Alarm Monitoring System to our customers.  The RoncoWatch System utilizes a compact, self-contained unit called a site event buffer (SEB), with full battery backup and modem capabilities. This attaches directly to your PBX port or equipment host's local port. As the port generates data, the SEB checks it for event and alarm information, ranging from system load and usage data to alarm and failed equipment warnings. The SEB then stores this information in memory, or forwards it to the Technical Remote Center via a dedicated phone line. This means service technicians get the information they need to take immediate, corrective action, often before customer site personnel are even aware of a problem.

The RoncoWatch System can be programmed to respond to events and alarms as your needs dictate. It can store the event in the mass memory, or deliver text messages in "real-time". We can also customize the database to meet specific equipment requirements for each site.

The secure modem can detect and disconnect unauthorized system users based on security passwords. An alarm is raised reporting any unauthorized access attempts. An audit trail is provided to better manage system access.

Many businesses can also use RoncoWatch to monitor external remote sensing devices for critical physical and environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity or room access. The RoncoWatch System checks these sensors for relay contact closures, reporting changes as specified for that site.
