  • Senior Human Resources Generalist - Raleigh, NC

    We at Ronco seek an experienced, Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide services and support in multiple functional areas of Human Resources.

     

    Accountabilities Include:

     

    • Assist with the recruiting for non-exempt and professional level positions
    • Assist with on-boarding of all new employees, such as new employee orientation, explanation of benefits, and explanation of company policies, practices and procedures
    • Receive and act on employee complaints and provide supervisors with coaching and counseling in the area of employee relations
    • Prepare employment status changes for weekly payroll processing with proper coding and departmental allocations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and benefit information in the HR system by processing all status changes, salary changes, garnishments, terminations, and withholding requests immediately upon notification
    • Manage accurate records for leaves of absence and assist employees during leaves of absence
    • Prepare required daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as special reports as requested
    • Perform thorough exit interviews to identify trends that will reduce turnover and improve employee work climate
    • Perform special projects in benefits and compensation as needed
    • Coordinate employee relations and recognition programs that foster a culture of engagement
    • Assist in the development of personnel policies and procedures and maintain the employee handbook
    • Assist in the creation of new employee job descriptions and maintenance of current job descriptions and titles
    • Assist in the administration and follow up on safety, workers compensation and fleet accident claims
    • Research and analyze various HR scenarios for management
    • Stay current with local, state and Federal HR laws, legislation, and trends, and maintain compliance
    • Perform other HR duties as assigned by management

     

    Requirements for Success:

     

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources and 5 years professional level human resources experience
    • Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems involving systems, policies and people
    • Thorough working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment and work well independently
    • Must exercise the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Must be detail oriented and work well under pressure

    We at Ronco seek a talented, Field Technician to perform a wide variety of complex technical duties in support of voice and data communication systems.  Our skilled Technicians provide installation, support and maintenance on communication and networking equipment and deliver high quality customer service in a timely manner.

     

    Accountabilities:

     

    • Perform and coordinate installation, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of communication equipment
    • Professionally interface with customers to discuss work and convey system information
    • Assist the sales team as necessary to ensure competitive and accurate bid responses
    • Conduct building site-surveys to identify and confirm installation requirements
    • Oversee projects from the bid process through sign-off; handling multiple projects simultaneously
    • Attend/conduct project meetings with installation or construction personnel and assist with scheduling and installation
    • Work directly with customers to establish and publish project timelines with completion dates
    • Coordinate shipping of project equipment
    • Communicate project progress to customers and Company team members and coordinate project changes with the sales team
    • Provide training to customers or end user personnel on operation and maintenance of systems
    • Provide effective “on call” support
    • Attend job related training as offered by the Company as well as self-driven learning efforts
    • Acquire technical certifications as needed for the job
    • Mentor, train and share knowledge with others as required
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Requirements for Success:

     

    • Associate degree in electronics technology or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Experience with AVST, Avaya, Cisco and Nortel products including IP Telephony and Call Pilot voicemail multimedia solutions.
